SEWA SHRAM SHAKTI FOUNDATION
When working with vulnerable communities, where people's lives are at stake, trusted partners are imperative. The SEWA Shram Shakti Foundation is a registered NGO working closely with Government agencies, the local police and shelter homes bridging the gap between enslavement and a free and independent life. This centre is for survivors of sex trafficking and provides them with the skills, accountability, discipline and support to become a productive member of society. With these skills the women will lift themselves out of poverty and have opportunities to work and gain independence, confidence and freedom to make decisions on how they wish to live their lives.
